Abortus are circumstances that indicate the products of conception
before the fetus expenditure can live outside the womb or termination of
pregnancy before the fetus weighed 500 grams or gestational ages less
than 20 weeks. This situation may improve morbilitas and maternal and
fetal mortality.
The high incidence of incomplete abortion can not be separated from the state of the mother during pregnancy is also influenced by various factors including: maternal age, parity and occupation.
This research uses a survey method with a descriptive approach with a population of 77 cases and samples are all pregnant women who experienced incomplete abortion di Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak Pertiwi Makassar Tahun 2009 were 54 cases.
From the results of this study, the incidence of incomplete abortion by the age of 20-35 years (62,96%) higher than women with age < 20 years and > 35 years (37,04%), the incidence of abortion with parity 2-3 (53,71%), higher than the mothers with parity 1 and > 3 (46,29%), mothers who work > 8 hours (IRT, self-employed) (72,22%) higher than in women who worked < 8 hours (PNS) (27,78%).
Suggested the need for further research about other factors associated with incomplete abortions or research on the factors that have been analyzed using other methods.
